Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChefBoard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

ChefBoard is a kitchen and restaurant management tool that helps you track inventory, cost recipes, manage suppliers, engineer menus, and analyze sales data. The Service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about uninterrupted availability. During the beta period, certain features may change without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during sign-up. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at chefboardsupport@gmail.com and change your password.

4. Organization Data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into ChefBoard (recipes, ingredients, inventory records, sales data, etc.). We do not claim any rights to your data. You may export or delete your data at any time. Organization owners can manage team member access and are responsible for their team's use of the Service.

5. Beta Period

During the beta period, the Service is provided free of charge. We may modify features, pricing, or terms at any time during beta. Beta users will be notified of material changes. When the beta ends, you will have the option to continue on a paid plan or export your data. No credit card is required during beta.

6. Payment & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through LemonSqueezy. Prices are displayed in USD. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free plan. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems; upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content; resell or redistribute the Service without written permission; or use the Service in a way that damages, disables, or impairs our infrastructure.

8. Limitation of Liability

ChefBoard is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (like warranty disclaimers) will remain in effect.
